More meal planning - another positive stroke of midlife-genius for a Monday!
Last month's en papillote recipes from the latest All You Need Is Cheese magazine worked very well, especially the biryani. I made double the amount of rice and so have some stashed in the freezer for this month's variation.

Week One:
- Monday = today was a holiday so we just buffet-ed all day
- Tuesday = potato and lentil curry with naan breads (will blog this one later)
- Wednesday = store-bought cannelloni and homemade sauce
- Thursday = chicken slow cook casserole in vast amount of ratatouille (similar here but without the cheese) to replenish my stocks
- Friday = risotto of some description
Week Two:
- Monday = yogurt spiced chicken with veg bocconcini kebabs
- Tuesday = nachos with guacamole, plain yogurt and salsa
- Wednesday = burgers in ciabatta buns, with salads
- Thursday = salade nicoise (similar recipe from Canadian Living)
- Friday = rice pilaff
Week Three:
- Monday = macaroni cheese or spaghetti pie
- Tuesday = bacon and egg quiche (recipe from the Bone series - am not kidding!)
- Wednesday = salads etc yawn yawn
- Thursday = veg biryani papillote
- Friday = roast chicken
Week Four:
- Monday = spaghetti bolognese (using the slow cooker recipe, tripling up for stock)
- Tuesday = linguine and garlic mushrooms in cream and feta sauce
- Wednesday = Kung Pau chicken stir fry (from Canadian Living)
- Thursday = pizza from the freezer
- Friday = pot roast (not sure what yet ...)
