midlife monday: meal planning for July


More meal planning - another positive stroke of midlife-genius for a Monday!

Last month's en papillote recipes from the latest All You Need Is Cheese magazine worked very well, especially the biryani. I made double the amount of rice and so have some stashed in the freezer for this month's variation.

Week One:
  • Monday =  today was a holiday so we just buffet-ed all day
  • Tuesday = potato and lentil curry with naan breads (will blog this one later)
  • Wednesday =  store-bought cannelloni and homemade sauce
  • Thursday =  chicken slow cook casserole in vast amount of ratatouille (similar here but without the cheeseto replenish my stocks
  • Friday = risotto of some description
