Huge high ceilings! Thanks to some great seating arranged by Amber Strocel, my good aka hearing ear was turned to the speakers so I heard everything quite nicely. Sadly Amber had the pleasure of my deaf ear but she was concentrating on tweeting/blogging/listening so I think we're still friends :)
Glad to hear it. At the Mom Cafe Vancouver your deaf ear was away from the speakers, so you couldn't hear my silly comments or the speakers. My recent post Road Tripping with the Girls
It's a new juggling act for me - it took me a whole year post deafness to learn to tell people I couldn't hear them. It seems to be taking a while for me to learn to position myself too. I'm getting better (and less bashful). I still prefer to hear the comments as well as the speakers though.
