My lil sis jokes that one very single-ish year she received a card from our parents' dog on Valentines Day to save her from being cardless. She was allegedly mortified (not sure if the dog had good taste or not).

And are those your valentine roses - from him or from you? They're beautiful. I'm very envious - although I did get to grapple with 3 very handsome young men today as my Valentine treat ;-)
Shucks! poor card
the roses were to me two years ago (when i was still sick). This year = nada.
I was phoned from LA airport to ask me what duty free I had requested him to buy on his way back, and then asked if there were any smellies I was running out of (which I declined cos it was just so unromantic).
So nothing, not even a card.

Somehow it's a lot worse when you're apparently 'with' someone.
